THE EFFECT OF SCHOOL CLIMATE ON STUDENTS' LEARNING DISCIPLINE AT STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL 1 RAO SELATAN

This research is a quantitative research with a correlational research type. The research subjects arestudents at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan. The population was 548 people and the sample was determined using the Proportional stratified random sampling technique with a total sample of 91 people. Based on data processing and calculation results of SPSS 26, it explainsthat student learning discipline is good with an achievement of 87.4% and school climate is also good with an achievement of 81.5. The influence of school climate on student learning discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan is 0.387. So, the hypothesis simultaneously proves that there is a significant influence between school climate and student learning discipline. The calculation of the determination coefficient explains that the school climate variable is able to explain the student learning discipline variable by 38.7%. A conducive school climate has been proven to have a positive influence on student learning discipline. It can be concluded that the more conducive the school climate is, the higher the level of influence of student learning discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan. To improve the conduciveness of the school climate at SMK Negeri 1 Rao Selatan, student learning discipline becomes better and students get used to the responsibility carried out by learning.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP AND TEACHER WORK MOTIVATION IN STATE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN TANAH DATAR DISTRICT

This type of research uses a correlational research method that looks at the relationship between principal leadership and teacher work motivation in State Senior High Schools throughout Tanah Datar Regency. The population of this study was all teachers in State Senior High Schools throughout Tanah Datar Regency with a total of 540 people. The sample was determined using the Cluster Random Sampling technique, so that the sample totaled 48 people. The results of the data analysis showed that 1) Teacher work motivation was at a high interpretation of 4.17, 2) Principal leadership was at a good interpretation of 4.18, 3) There was a significant relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient of 0.504 and a correlation significance test of 3.395. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that principal leadership is one of the factors that influences work motivation in State Senior High Schools throughout Tanah Datar Regency.

Teachers' Innovative Behavior in Learning in State High Schools in Kapur IX District

This research was based on the results of observations made by researchers at SMAN, Kapur IX District, which showed that teachers' innovative behavior was still not optimal. This research aims to find out how high the teacher's innovative level is in the learning process which includes exploring ideas, generating ideas, fighting for ideas, and realizing ideas. There are 4 questions answered in this research, namely: 1) how well is the teacher's innovative behavior in exploring ideas in learning at SMAN Kapur IX District; 2) How well does the teacher's innovative behavior produce ideas in learning at SMAN Kapur IX District; 3) How well does the teacher's innovative behavior promote ideas in learning at SMAN Kapur IX District; 4) How well are innovative teachers realizing ideas in learning at SMAN Kapur IX District. The type of research used was quantitative descriptive with the population consisting of 64 teachers at SMAN Kapur IX District. With a total sample of 41 people. The sample size was determined using a random sampling technique, namely a lottery system. The research instrument used was a Likert scale model questionnaire regarding teacher innovative behavior in the learning process, totaling 65 items. Before the questionnaire is used, its validity and reliability are first tested. The collected data is processed by looking for the average score and average level of achievement

The Influence of the Principal's Leadership Style on Teacher Work Motivation in Public High Schools in Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency

This research was motivated by the low work motivation of teachers. This research aims to obtain data and information about 1) Teacher work motivation, 2) Principal leadership style, and 3) The relationship between school principal leadership style and teacher work motivation in State High Schools in Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency. This type of research uses correlational research methods. The population is all 125 State High School teachers in Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency. The research sample consisted of 96 people using proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument used is a Likert scale which has been tested for validity and reliability. The results of data analysis show that 1) Teacher work motivation is in a very good interpretation with a score of 3.29, 2) The principal's leadership style is in a good interpretation with a score of 2.80, 3) There is a relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient of 2 ,3556. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the principal's leadership style has a significant relationship with teacher work motivation in State High Schools in Gunung Talang District.

The Relationship Between Supervision and Employee Work Ethic in Carrying Out Duties at the Regional Personnel Agency of West Sumatra Province

This type of research is a correlational study that looks at the relationship between supervision and employee work ethic at the Regional Personnel Agency of West Sumatra Province. The population of this study was all employees at the Regional Personnel Agency of West Sumatra Province totaling 70 people. The sample was determined using the Proportional Random Sampling technique, so that the sample totaled 62 people. The results of the data analysis showed that 1) Employee work ethic is at a high interpretation of 4.30, 2) Supervision is at a good interpretation of 4.15, 3) There is a significant relationship between the two variables with a correlation coefficient of 0.432 and a correlation significance test of 3.712. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that supervision is one of the factors that influences employee work ethic at the Regional Personnel Agency of West Sumatra Province

Management of Teacher Duties in Implementing the Independent Learning Curriculum in State Vocational Schools throughout the City of Padang

This research is motivated by the problem, namely that the management of teacher duties is still not optimal in implementing the independent learning curriculum in State Vocational Schools throughout the city of Padang. This research aims to obtain information and describe the management of teachers' tasks in implementing the independent learning curriculum as seen from several aspects, including 1). learning planning, 2). implementation of learning, and 3). learning evaluation. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population of this study was all State Vocational School teachers in the city of Padang, totaling 466 teachers. The sample in this study was determined using proportional stratified random sampling technique with a sample size of 88 teachers. The instrument in this research uses a Likert scale questionnaire model with five answer choices whose validity and reliability have been tested. Data is processed using the mean formula. The results of this research state that the management of teachers' duties in implementing the independent learning curriculum in State Vocational Schools throughout Padang City is seen from aspect 1). Learning planning with an average score of 4.28 is in the frequent category, 2) learning implementers with an average score of 4.24 is in the frequent category, 3). Learning evaluation with an average score of 4.12 is in the frequent category. This shows that the management of teachers' duties in implementing the independent learning curriculum in State Vocational Schools throughout the city of Padang is good.
