This study investigates the relationship between principal communication and teacher work discipline in Senior High Schools in Koto Baru District. It was motivated by the ongoing issue of teachers showing low discipline in aspects such as attendance, punctuality, teaching, and administrative duties. A quantitative correlational approach was applied, with a sample of 79 teachers selected using proportional random sampling from a population of 94. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis included normality and linearity tests, as well as correlation significance testing using the t-test formula. The results showed that teacher work discipline was at a high level (87%), while principal communication was considered good (88%). Furthermore, a significant positive correlation was found between principal communication and work discipline, with a correlation coefficient of 0.447 and t-value of 4.382.
