Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher performance on students interest in learning natural sciences and social sciences. The approach used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach and performs statistical tests using SPSS. The sample population amount are 30 students. While the data collection technique uses a questionnaire because it is in accordance with the specified title. The results of this observation or studies were obtained by a reliability test by researchers which showed a result of 0.935 so it giving conclution that it was included in the very reliable category. Based on the calculated F value of 43.838 > F table 3.34, it can be concluded that H3 passed which means that  there is an influence of interest in learning natural science (X1) and learning social sciences (X2) simultaneously on teacher performance (Y), which means that it can be concluded about the performance of teachers at 25 Junior High School Padang has influences students  interest in learning natural science and social sciences.
