Analisis Masalah Kebijakan Pendidikan di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan

Abstract

This research aims to find out the education policy issues that
exist in the Pesisir Selatan district. The method in this
research uses descriptive qualitative. This research found
three education policy issues in Pesisir Selatan: mandatory
payment of committee funds, corruption of committee funds,
and difficulties for elderly teachers in implementing the
Merdeka Curriculum. The proposed solutions are additional
BOS funds, strict supervision and severe sanctions, and
special training for elderly teachers. These policies are
expected to improve the quality of education in Pesisir
Selatan.
